It's been a while...
So apparently the last post on my previous BLOG SITE was back in 2019. It's now almost the end of January, 2023. I can't believe I haven't posted anything for almost four years. HOW has time flown that fast??? I was documenting the building we were renovating and by the end of it, I was so frustrated and upset that I couldn't even think about doing the final reveal post. TBH, I was so livid with our contractor that I didn't want to give him any kudos at all. He was awful! While I love how the building turned out, I will never recommend him to anyone in our area! He treated me horribly and I seriously had heart palpitations anytime I even considered posting about the process. So, instead of doing that, I had to walk away from blogging completely. And that hiatus lasted for four years I guess, lol!
I'm sure many of you can relate, but having to be "on point" and "relevant" and "perfect" and all that stuff is enough to turn me off from any kind of social media, including blogging. I hate the feeling of not being able to be real. Drama or no drama. Fun or no fun. Beauty or not so beautimous...
You may ask then, why now? Why start blogging again now? Well, I have actually gone through a major growth process recently. I've totally redone my website and have linked it to the same company I've hosted my galleries with for years. They started a new program called "Studio Manager" and I decided to dive in with both feet. Including setting up a new website and blog. A fresh blog. A blog that allows me to start over, leaving all that other pressure behind me.
I can't promise how often I'll post here. But I'll definitely try to post often. I hear it's good for SEO too, so why not? I hope this New Year gives each of you a wonderful new start. Join me as we focus on the beautiful things our Savior has blessed us with. Until next time...
